I'm no expert on Sanger and I'm not interested in defending her but it seems to me that her area of advocacy pertained to artificial birth control rather than abortion.
While Sanger focused on eugenics via birth control, she opened a clinic in 1919 (I think) that included performing abortions and the racism behind her eugenics profile remains.
1,200 African American babies are aborted every day and Obama is committed to making sure that can continue unabated.
