If they tell you that you can sleep normally during a sleep study: they LIE.
If they tell you the glue they use to stick electrodes to your head washes out of your hair: they LIE.
And no. I didn't go to work today. I came home and slept.
Results of the test in about 2 weeks.

Oh, so sorry. But did you sleep well in your own bed?
Ellen
Yes. I "slept" seven hours at the clinic and came home and slept a solid five at home.
It was the wires on my legs that bothered me most. If anything bothers my feet during the night, I have to get up and remake my bed. Only it was wires and they were supposed to be there and I couldn't get up because my head was attached to a computer...
All in all, it was worth it - they'll get a good look at what's going on. (They did a "split test" - half the night was just sleeping and - if I hit a "threshhold" they put a Cpap on for the rest of the night. I did and they did.)

Let me know what you find out, Ellen!
Hope you're all caught up on you sleep and keeping busy so you don't have time to worry about the results!
