Umm, just in case that's your hand in the picture, hedgehog saliva is slightly venomous. Some folks have a strong reaction to it and some have none.

No, not my hand. I was looking at Wiki, which said that these these little critters (along with the platypus family) are the only mammals that lack a corpus collosum (the fiberous material that connects the two hemispheres of our brain). It used the Latin name for them so I surfed around to find out what they are and found this photo. 😉
