My nephew's wife is pregnant, after five years of marriage and a lifetime of being told she wouldn't be able to get pregnant.
She's about three months along and I just found out that she's bleeding. The baby's heartbeat is good and strong, her husband was just deployed on a sub for a few months.
Please pray for Karen, Rob and baby.
She will be transfered tonight to a specialty hospital and the hip will be replaced tomorrow. She is mid-recovery after a difficult back surgery, so time spent way from physical therapy will be a big setback.
She is immuno-compromised after cancer treatments (she is partway through a round of chemo - not for cancer but for rheumetoid arthritis) and the complication that she is dealing with is her asthma symtoms.
All of those tumors...
luckily she was on FMLA.
Her breast was removed and the tumor in the other was removed...lymph nodes do not appear to be involved and the cancer is one of the non-invasive varieties
Her ovaries were removed
the tumor in her stomach does not appear to be cancer at all!
God is good and prayer works.

Please pray not only that she recover (God willing), but that she use her cancer as best that she can - there will be many learning and teaching moments. Also pray that she see the comments of her more vitriolic leftist readers as what they are...a remarkable demonstration of the "T".

The television advertisement, sponsored by Florida conservatives, shows a blonde girl heading into the women’s restroom from the playground. A scruffy man, lurking outside, rushes into the restroom behind her. The words, “Your City Commission Made This Legal.” The city commission approved the measure, 4-3, last year.
