  1. I started to watch it tonight and thought it was boring. From your endorsement, I gather you felt otherwise.

I'll try watching again, if it's on again.

  2. Maybe you have to be a history bug (and geology and archaeology...)

I liked the phrase, "God didn't suspend nature, He manipulated it"

  3. I saw it in the guide last night but figured it wasa typical butchering of a bible story and ignored it. I guess you liked it?

  4. Some of the science was a little weird and there was an obvious (pro-Bible) bias.

It was VERY interesting how the show took the Biblical plagues and found fairly recent equivalents.

This was not a "look at the big rock and see how much it looks like Noah's ark".

When looking for the Israelites in Egypt, they were looking for writings of three things
    - a singular God, El
    - writen in alphabet, not cuniform
    - in places where slaves would have been

They found writings on a wall, in an alphabet writing - in a cave where slaves mined turquoise and it said, "El, save me."

IT.S JUST ANOTHER STORY THAT PROVES THE BIBLE IS CORRECT AND FOR THE BUTCHERING AHMOS WAS LIKE THE HITLER
    PROBALY GOT WHAT HE DESERVED...
